Who we are
Dayyoo is a language-learning product owned and operated by Flyosim LLC. This policy explains how we handle information when you visit dayyoo.com or use the Dayyoo app.
Information Dayyoo may use
The exact information depends on the features you choose to use.
- Learning preferences and progress, such as your selected language, level, saved words, practice activity, reminder schedule, and streak.
- Account information, such as your email address, internal account identifier, sign-in provider, and active device sessions, if you choose to create an account.
- Purchase and entitlement information supplied by Apple, such as product, transaction, subscription state, renewal state, and expiration date. Flyosim LLC does not receive your full payment-card number.
- If crash diagnostics are enabled for a release, redacted crash and diagnostic information is used to keep Dayyoo reliable. Dayyoo does not use advertising identifiers, cross-app tracking, session replay, or precise location.
- Messages you send to support, including the contact information and details you choose to provide.
How we use information
- Provide word cards, practice, progress, widgets, reminders, and other requested learning features.
- Remember your settings and, when enabled, synchronize progress across your devices.
- Maintain security, diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and improve Dayyoo.
- Respond to support requests and communicate important service or policy updates.
Local and offline learning
Dayyoo stores curated vocabulary, preferences, and learning state locally on your device so the starter learning experience remains available offline. Removing the app or clearing its data may remove local progress that has not been synchronized.
The app does not need to upload the text of the word you are learning in order to show the local starter experience.
Audio, notifications, and widgets
Dayyoo may use on-device speech features to pronounce words and examples. Reminder notifications are scheduled only after you grant permission and can be changed or disabled in Dayyoo or iOS Settings. Widgets display selected learning content on your device.
Subscriptions and payments
Dayyoo Plus purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple supplies Dayyoo with signed transaction and subscription-status information so we can grant access, restore purchases, prevent fraud, and respond to refunds or revocations. Apple’s privacy policy and account settings govern App Store billing and cancellation.
Service providers and disclosure
We use carefully selected providers for hosting, authentication, email delivery, customer support, Apple payment-entitlement verification, and, when enabled, redacted crash diagnostics. They may process only the information needed to provide their service to us and must protect it consistently with this policy. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or Dayyoo, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
Dayyoo does not sell your personal information for money.
Retention, security, and your choices
We keep account and learning information while your account is active and only as long afterward as reasonably needed for legal obligations, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and security. Apple transaction records may be retained where financial or tax law requires it. We use reasonable safeguards, but no storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.
You may change learning and notification settings at any time. You can initiate permanent account deletion directly in Dayyoo under Settings → Dayyoo account → Delete account. The deletion removes the account and associated cloud learning data that we are not legally required to retain, revokes active sessions and Sign in with Apple authorization, and sends a completion notice. Local learning data remains on the phone until you remove the app or its data.
For access, correction, deletion, or other privacy requests, email privacy@dayyoo.com. Applicable local law may provide additional rights.
Children
Dayyoo is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required by local law to consent to data processing. If you believe a child provided personal information without appropriate permission, please contact us so we can review and delete it where required.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as Dayyoo evolves. We will post the revised policy here and update its effective date. For privacy questions or requests, email privacy@dayyoo.com.
